Managed Detection and Response (MDR) is a managed security service, often leveraging an outsourced team of experts to provide monitoring and alerting services, such as:
- 24/7/365 Digital Monitoring
- Threat Detection
- Threat Hunting
- Systems Management
Extended Detection and Response (XDR) is an evolution to MDR and a more recent solution-set that seeks to place more security functions within a single software ecosystem. XDR tools often provide features such as:
- Centralized Dashboard
- Consolidated Threat Monitoring
- Automated + Human-verified Response
- AI Integration
Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) improves the security of an org’s network-connected 'endpoint' systems (computers, servers, etc.) against cyber threats. EDR tools commonly include the following capabilities:
- Endpoint Monitoring
- Endpoint Detection
- Log Monitoring
- Digital Forensics
Quadrant's MXDR service integrates all three.

For the most part, NO! Quadrant is a platform-agnostic MXDR provider, meaning we never force you to buy ancillary solutions or products to fit our services. We integrate and manage the tools you currently use, making the most of current licenses and saving you budget. Upon request, we're happy to advise in the selection of security solutions that can maximize your environment.
The Quadrant SOC is staffed by live US-based analysts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, at our headquarters in Jacksonville, FL.
Under 15 minutes. Additionally, the "tier-less" nature of our SOC means there are no "escalations", which often add complexity and take time to hand-off. The same analyst who fields your alert will be your POC throughout the entire process.
Our Sagan dashboard provides dynamic reporting on essentially any datapoint ingested, offering executive summaries and data visualization on-demand. Executive-level reporting is also provided monthly or quarterly (customer preference) through our Customer Success team, providing an overview of the amount of data and number of logs analyzed per period with corresponding metrics of the number of events escalated (both Critical and Non-critical) to the customers incident response teams. These reports also provide information on the number of events that were analyzed and cleared by the Quadrant systems and security analysts.
Yes. When an incident has occurred, Quadrant supports the customer through the full lifecycle of the incident by providing around-the-clock Incident Response (IR) support. In conjunction with the 24/7/365 Security Operations Center, a Quadrant IR Lead engages with the customer team to ensure that all necessary analyses are completed, and that all data and information deemed related to the event are provided to the customer in a time-efficient and quality-assured manner. We can also work alongside a customers third-party IR team in a support capacity.
